Within just a few months the Covid-19 pandemic dramatically changed the daily lives of people around the globe. The way we collaborate in teams and work together with partners is defined by new minimum distance directives. In this light, IICM not only provides technical knowledge on how to translate existing formats into a virtual setting, but in collaboration with clients also conceptualizes new virtual interactive formats and designs supporting the means of communication.

Classical “storytelling” is about telling stories in order to convince others and win them over to something. IICM interprets “corporate storytelling” as the ability to condense complex and comprehensive information — such as a strategic reorientation — and consolidate it in consultation with the stakeholders. After preparation, these can be communicated to the broader audience in an understandable way.

VISUALIZATION

In divergent phases, visions of the future, scenario matrices, visions but also rough concepts often take on unspecific states. Despite the early phase, there is often a need for communication, which can be implemented with the help of visualization. In the course of this IICM prefers to work with scribbles, illustrations and photomontages and gives the hitherto unspecific idea room for future specification and interpretation.

STRATEGY ARTEFACTS

Motivation, structure and leadership form the basis for sustainable change processes. A further important component is the transfer of skills and competences which contribute to the empowerment of employees during the change process. In order to anchor these in the long term, IICM relies on “tangible” artefacts that can be specifically integrated into the process. Artefacts can be used in different media, from the culture box to the coffee mug to the holistic workshop setting. In addition to their visibility in analogue environments, they provide a framework for structured discussion and can contribute to the engagement of the participants.

FILMS

Films are a means to transport both content and emotions. Due to the current situation in which face- to-face workshops are less feasible, the medium of film has become more relevant in transporting certain content to a defined audience. By directing, filming, cutting and adding sound IICM turns complex strategies, projects’ results and key messages into real experiences.
